I've always been a builder.
Not in the traditional sense of constructing things with my hands, but in bringing ideas to life. I have always been drawn to creating something where nothing previously existed: a program, a system, an event, a team, or a solution. There is something deeply fulfilling about taking an idea from concept to reality and watching it create value for others.
That instinct to build led me into leadership earlier than I ever expected.
At just 15 years old, I was elected ASB President for my school district, representing more than six schools and serving as a voice for students at the district level. I worked closely with student leaders, administrators, and members of the Board of Trustees to advocate for student needs, coordinate districtwide initiatives, and build consensus across very different groups of stakeholders. It was my first experience leading at scale, balancing competing priorities, managing complex projects, and seeing firsthand how thoughtful leadership can create real impact.
That experience changed the trajectory of my life. It taught me that leadership is not about being the loudest voice in the room. It is about bringing people together around a shared vision and building the systems, relationships, and momentum needed to turn ideas into reality.

In the years since, I have built my career across nonprofit, civic, startup, and corporate environments. Through all of it, the common thread has never changed. I am most alive when I am building. Building programs. Building systems. Building teams. Building experiences. Building solutions.
No matter the industry or the role, I have never been content to sit on the sidelines. I am happiest in the middle of the action, turning vision into execution and making sure great ideas become real. Simply put, building is what I do. It is who I am.
